Winter Zelda

This Winter Zelda cosplay was my first big project of 2018. This is a fully functional winter coat interlined with insulation fabric.

Making of

The coat itself is built from a poly-wool blend coating, with gold pigskin leather and gold iron-on transfer vinyl to create the trim and embellishments.

I hand-tooled this leather belt to replicate the design featured in-game. It is stained with a water-based dye and sealed with a semi-gloss acrylic finish. The buckle and belt tab were 3D-printed, them finished with gold foil. Ashley Rochelle contributed 3D models for these items.
