Vagrant Story
I’ve made two different costumes from the Playstation One game Vagrant Story. I started with Callo Merlose, made in 2014 while I was an intern at GSTQ Fashions, then went on to make Sydney Losstarot the following year to compete as a group at the A-kon cosplay contest.

Making Of
The dress is constructed from lambskin leather and moleskin spandex, with handmade spandex piping and wet-look spandex trim. All patterns were draped by me and refined through a series of mockups.
All of the armor is made from vegetable tanned leather, tooled and painted to look like weathered metal. It is assembled with rivets and strapping for extreme durability.
Sydney’s pants and cape are made from plonge leather, with a shiny taffeta lining on the underside of the cape. The pants are lined with silk for added comfort and breathability in hot weather.
