Lucca Ashtear

This is a fully handmade costume constructed in 2016. I created all the main pieces from my own patterns and sourced pre-made base clothes for the less prominent pieces.

The helmet is built from EVA foam, with googly eyes used to create the shape of the oversize rivets. The antenna is a wire coat hanger bent to shape. I re-purposed a working microphone for the headset — it can be connected to a speaker stored in the belt bag.

The harness is made from genuine veg tanned leather, and the pouch is sewn from a lighter weight lambskin. The tunic and scarf are also handmade.
